ST raum a. worked with the producer cooperative “Landgard” to design the flower hall of the Berlin ‘Green Week’ for a second time. Over 100,000 plants decorated the hall with their colourful splendour, artistically reflecting the theme “nature in her entire diversity.”
The vibrant and moving landscape of 2,200 m² formed the connective tissue between the three parts of the hall and once again became a highlight of the fairgrounds. The visitors were invited to saunter through the floral splendour alongside the curved paths of the hall.
The stands of this year’s exhibitors were organized to surround the field, in order to avoid blocking the sight lines of the landscape. This organizing logic facilitated navigation in the hall.
Various landscape elements, such as a pond, large found objects, and a tree grove were used to ensure a holistic interpretation of the theme.
Since sustainable design is very important for us, we took care to select resource-conserving and recyclable materials.
The rainbow as a symbol for diversity.
