Five new residential buildings with an integrated kindergarden complete the “Five Acres Dahlem Urban Village”, where living and working coexist and are visually interwoven.
Short distances offer uncomplicated commuting, but at the same time, generous space for green open spaces is provided for. Planting areas in various sizes and heights decorate the residential terraces. A pathway flows like a stream over the grassed areas and connects the islands, which offer a variety of playgrounds targeted at different age groups. There, residents have the opportunity for climbing, hopping, jumping and running, spinning, balancing or concentrating by boule. To keep in tradition with the area well known for its pine trees, the property is planted with pines groves, which provide a protective treed roof. Hazelnut shrubs provide company, and yield their fruit in autumn, providing food for the squirrels.
