The Bayer-Pharma site in Berlin was a collage of various structures and open spaces that was created over time. Restructuring has disrupted functional relationships between individual parts. Thus, both the identity of the place and the representation of the company suffered.

A master plan for the outdoor facilities was able to remedy the situation and serve as a tool for sustainable redevelopment. Initially, all open spaces were surveyed, whereby the essential elements were analysed and brought into a new context. A handbook setting out the framework for future transformations resulted. This manual provides material guidelines as well as design principles with the goal of functionality.

Practical implementation has already begun. In this way, a uniform, representative and timeless appearance of Bayer Pharma AG will be ensured for the future.
